Hello, and welcome to Cedar Counselling.  My name is Karen Lambert and I am a qualified counsellor based in Yalding, near Maidstone.  I understand that sometimes life can be difficult and being able to talk to a therapist can be very helpful.
 

My approach to therapy is open, honest and down-to- earth, and I am firm believer in the counselling process and the good that it can do. 

I also appreciate that it may be hard for you to make contact with a counsellor, because that might mean acknowledging that there is something that you need help with, and on top of that, you may be wondering how is it going to help talking to a stranger about it? 

Talking with someone who isn’t a family member or a friend can allow you to be honest without the fear of being judged. I can work with you on whatever it is that is troubling you, to help you explore what is going on for you and what you want to do about it.
